 Does Spiritual Healing claim to cure?
In what way could the healing help me?All health complaints bring tension into the mind and body; initially healing works by dispelling that tension -then the body's own defence mechanisms are given a boost. Spiritual Healing continues to work by aiding the body and mind restore health balance. Should I also go to my doctor with my condition?Spiritual Healing is a complementary therapy, which means we expect you to have consulted your doctor and there is no reason why you shouldn't tell the doctor you are considering having Spiritual Healing; complementary therapy is encouraged by the NHS. I'm on a course of drugs prescribed by my doctor -will they affect my getting a benefit from Spiritual Healing?No. Spiritual Healers will never ask you to stop taking prescribed medication. With some drugs that have a suppressive effect upon the human systems the healing effect may take a little longer, but in any event healing will help in some way. How many sessions of healing would it be helpful for me to have?That rather depends upon the kind of complaints you want help for. Minor complaints may be helped sufficiently in one session for you to say -that's better! Chronic and more serious health complaints are usually helped by having a regular session -once a week or fortnight is ideal, though some benefit will be felt if the sessions are further apart. I don't suffer from any particular health complaint but I get tired easily and it's difficult to cope with life generally. Can Spiritual healing make me stronger?Healing will help restore your energy balance -why do you think healers heal? It's because they get a boost to their vitality when working. Patients get the same and when you feel more vital then life becomes much more interesting! Can I see how this works without having it myself?You certainly can. Come to any JCPF Wednesday mediumship demonstration event (usually first week of the month) and just sit in -demonstrations of healing are usually given. OK. So I come to a healing clinic, how does it happen -what can I expect?First a very warm welcome -we are personally interested in helping you. We will ask for a few details; name, address and nature of your problem(s) -this forms the basis of your healing record. After healing any notes made will be with your consent. At anytime the healing record can be seen by you and a copy provided if required. How does the healing take place and do I have to do anything?Healing will take place either in a chair or on a healing couch if one is a available -the choice is yours. If the healer recommends the chair only it's because getting on and off a couch may not be helpful to you getting benefit from the session. At other times some healers prefer to use the chair. I understand its hands-on healing but what exactly does that mean?Healers will never ask you to remove clothing, unless it's an outer coat or heavy footwear. The healer's hands may lightly touch or they may hover over the body area -they will never place their hands over private areas. What kind of reactions can I expect to have?Most healers provide a healing energy that warms the area of the body they are focussing upon, however sometimes it's not and a cool like feeling can be felt. In either case it means that you are feeling the healing energies. Sometimes a vibration can be felt internally or you are aware of energy moving about your body. How long do the sessions last?In a healing clinic the actual healing takes around 10 minutes, the admin bit before and after no more than 10 minutes also -but you can stay in the healing atmosphere as long as the clinic is open! If I'm unable to leave home and attend can a healer attend me at home?We provide a service which includes home visits when healers are available to do it. We also will take your name and some information about your condition and carry out absent healing -yes that works too! If I want private one to one healing -can that be arranged?Yes it can. On the website you will see contact information to guide your choice. Finally, what's the difference between Spiritual Healing and Reiki?Thought you'd never ask! Not a lot really from a patient's point of view -the techniques of hands-on varies but in essence healing is the same. Spiritual Healers are taught and qualified to shift their consciousness when opening up for healing -Reiki healers will tell you the same. At the end of the day you are the judge on what benefit a healer gives you. |
