 Want to train as a Spiritual Healer?
Truth is most people have the gift of healing -if you have a strong caring nature it's almost certain you do have the ability. Is there a difference between Reiki, Energy Healing, Pranic Healing, Therapeutic Touch and Psychic & Spiritual Healing? Well, yes there is -some techniques to develop the BodyMind are different and unlike any of the other forms of touch healing we teach you to directly raise your consciousness to work with Spirit communicators on the other side of life. The results might look the same to the untrained eye but we are confident that our training programme can not only have healers promote natural energies to their patients in a state of higher consciousness -they can be guided to provide that life changing energy to alleviate patients conditions. Our methods also encourages the patient's own body and mind condition to positively respond.
Healer training has developed considerably over the years, back in the sixties when the JCPF was started it was a peer qualified process; competence levels varying significantly from organisation to organisation. Today we have a nationally recognised development and qualification programme which the JCPF is part of. You only need to have interest for us to develop the healing ability -when you have it you won't look back, it helps your health as well as others whom you practise upon.

If you want to qualify to a professional standard as a Psychic & Spiritual Healer, registered to the British Alliance of Healing Associations and, if you wish, a national regulatory body -these courses will take you step by step to that goal. The Healer Development & Registration course programme (HD&RC) consisting of two 10 week courses teaches the required theory and practical. Distant healing testimonials can be achieved on the first course and by attending the monthly Healer Training Clinic; combining hands on healing practical tuition with these courses you can be ready to start the contact healing testimonial process after 3 - 4 months.
You can choose to qualify healing people only (silver status) or you can include animal healing (Gold status). Hands on healing testimonials can be achieved in a JCPF public healing clinic or by visiting patients in their homes. The JCPF healer's handbook is the study material used by the Trainee Healer. Certificate is provided on qualification and Curriculum Vitae.

 I'm curious why would people want to become healers?
That's easy to answer -healers heal because they get a 'buzz' out of doing it! They also generally keep in better health because of the practise. As you probably know doing something that's meaningful for someone else makes you feel good. In this 'plastic' world of ours it's essential to get 'real' if we are to have a satisfying life.
How long would it take me to train as a Spiritual Healer?
The physical techniques to learn are very simple and can be taught quickly -learning to shift your consciousness and connect with the higher vibrational nature of the soul takes longer and of course in our present day world we must perform to healing conduct standards that meet public expectations of good practise. You can become a fully registered Psychic & Spiritual Healer with the British Alliance of Healing Associations (BAHA) with a recognised qualification in two years -or you can take as long as you like to achieve the theoretical and practical training needed. You can become a fully qualifed healer in less than a year if you really put your time into the training and provided you can get insurance can be practising publically soon thereafter. Beware of adverts that say you can qualify in a matter of days or weeks! During training you will have the satisfaction of seeing patients (remember animals as well as people) getting benefit from your healing expression. |
 OK. Given I want to do this how do I go about it?
The JCPF provides introductory psychic & spiritual development programmes -9 or 10 weekly evening classes depending on which one you attend. These courses teach how to control and utilise your natural energies, raise and lower consciousness at your command and develop awareness of your higher nature -the root from which all spiritual healing energies will emanate and relationship with spiritual guides can be forged. On completion you will be prepared and competent to enrol into the Spiritual Healing Training programme if you so wish. A personal tutor is assigned and hands on healing can begin in Healing clinics soon after.

 I lead a busy life; I don't think I can commit to regular attendance for year or more!
No worries! The JCPF Spiritual Healing programme is designed with you in mind -you can do as little or as much as you like and you can attend the Healer Training Clinic as and when you choose. By arrangement you can also get healing experience as a member of one of our public healing clinics. When you sign up for the programme the 'JCPF Healer Training Handbook' is provided, which is also a workbook used to chart your progress -it contains all the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to know, lots of self testing questions, useful diagrams, graphics, etc. The Healer Training Clinic teacher is a fully registered healer and will practically guide you to develop your healing powers -you can discuss at anytime the knowledge needed to achieve Full Healer status.
Sounds do-able, what exactly do I need to learn to become a Fully Registered Spiritual Healer?
It's mostly practical hands-on healing with people and animals genuinely in need of help. You will learn how to prepare yourself, the patient, shift your consciousness to link with Spirit, techniques of applying the healing, how to close down and return to normal consciousness, aftercare with patients and how to provide healing at a distance. On the theoretical side you'll need to prepare and maintain essential healer patient documentation, know the healing standards that govern practice, learn about Mind systems (chakras and mind & body energies) and have a rudimentary knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

 | You mentioned self testing earlier -do I have to take exams?
No. it's not like that -the self testing questions are designed to have you feel confident you know the subjects, when you feel confident (the Healer Training Clinic teacher will help on this) you can complete a self assessment at the subject level of your choice. If you don't succeed at first -try again and again! Over 90% of students achieve first time round. Practical healing skills are assessed ongoing and you will know session by session how you are doing by talking with the teacher.

 That sounds great! How quickly could I achieve full healer status given I attended weekly?
If you are that keen within a year commencing the first week of your introductory course! Quite apart from the satisfaction of a personal achievement your qualification will be comprehensive and provided you take out the necessary healer insurance you will be qualified to heal anywhere in the UK and in Europe wherever Psychic & Spiritual Healing can be practised. As a trainee you will be insured and that insurance, provided by the British Alliance of Healing Associations can continue for you as a full healer provided you maintain your charity membership and are a JCPF Healer member with two years experience. You will be able to heal in one-to-one situations as your qualification gives you authority to do so provided you are insured. Registration via the JCPF charity with the British Alliance of Healing Associations (BAHA) willl also gives you the opportunity for registration with Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC); this means you can be recognised by the NHS as a fully qualified Healer. Of course we would love you to work in our healing clinics -you will be encouraged to do so, some of our healers do this as well as practising professionally.
OK! One last question -this all sounds good -a strong practical training environment, personal tuition and a step by step ladder to achievement, but how much does it cost?
Hold on to your hat! I daresay you've looked around and seen the cost of courses and programmes -some of them running into three figures.
